All in a Night's Work

The Home Run King awoke at 6:30 this morning to find that we had a skunk in our trap. It was obvious that Twinkies are indeed an irresistable skunk delicacy. The trapping was promptly reported to the city's animal control division via a 911 call.

However, much to our dismay, the skunk let out a foul odor at about 6:45 am. In fact, the smell was so bad, that upon her arrival, Ms. Lau had to run from the front yard and drive around back to use an alternate means of entry.

We're hopeful that the trap, the skunk, and the smell will be gone by 5:45 this evening.

Update by the Home Run King's mom.

At the hotel

by: Home Run King

The whole family lived at the Grand Valley Hotel. At the hotel the kids played in the water park. They had fun sword fighting with noodles at the water park. And they had so so so so much fun. The kids’ mom bought them a hot dog at the little deli shop. She had to pay one dollar for each hot dog. She bought a Coke, too. And after they ate they played. At night, the mom took the kids to the fireworks display. There were spinners, poppers, and loud exploders. After that they went to bed. In the morning the whole family woke up early because they wanted to eat breakfast at Bob Evans. After they ate breakfast the kids played in the water park. The boys were at the lazy river and the girls were three people behind them in huge tubes. After that the boys got out of the lazy river. The girls kept going in the lazy river until their mom came over and told them to jump out. After the girls got out they went to the little deli shop. When will the dad and the other men in the family come to the deli shop? As the men approached the deli shop the boys approached the deli shop too. The boys asked the girls, “Are you eating a hot dog?” We are eating a hot dog said the boys.

What I know about Skunk Bait

Hostess Twinkies are a great skunk bait. If there's a skunk visiting in your yard, he'll go for a nice Twinkie. Borrow a trap from the Animal Control department, and put a Twinkie inside. Hopefully, the critter will go for the bait, and BANG, he'll get trapped. When you buy the Twinkies, get enough for you and the skunk.
